A Kindle that doubles as a digital notebook doesn't come cheap, but buying refurbished could make it a little more affordable.
Amazon has knocked $75 off the Kindle Scribe, with the “like-new” refurbished model now priced at $284.99. And if you're wary about the refurbished tag, there's no need to be. Amazon says these devices are tested and certified to look and work like new, and include the same limited warranty as a new device.
The Scribe is designed for bookworms who like to do more than just read. Its 10.2-inch display and upgraded Premium Pen let you annotate books, jot down ideas, or use the built-in notebook for everything from work notes to journaling. Active Canvas also lets you write directly onto book pages, so you can note down your thoughts alongside what you're reading.
When you're finished writing, you can convert handwritten notes into text and email them to yourself or others. There are AI tools to help tidy up your notes, too, including options to change their length or tone.
This Kindle deal is available at Amazon now, but only for a limited time.
