We continue to enhance our platform with new AI-powered features. Following the introduction of the ChatGPT extension, which enables users to chat with an intelligent agent within your app, we are excited to introduce the AI Assistant. This new extension is specifically designed to save you significant time when creating content in the Halder Group CMS.
The AI Assistant is accessible directly from your back office. You can use it to generate, summarize, complete, translate, or modify the tone of a text, elevating your content production to the next level.
The AI assistant, a versatile and outstanding writer
If you haven't yet installed the AI Assistant extension, don't wait any longer. This extension is available for all subscriptions and is even installed by default on all projects created since this article was written ;)
After installation, go to the Content menu in your back office and create new content. You can choose any type of content where you have access to the CMS text editor (add an article, video, podcast, event, or location). In the top left-hand corner of the text editor, you'll recognize the now-familiar AI tools icon. Clicking on this icon will take you to the AI Assistant functions.
Sum up
The assistant can help you summarize a text. To do this, first select the text you want to make more concise, click on the assistant icon, and choose the "Sum up" function. The prompt window will open, pre-filled with the instruction "Sum up the following text." From here, you can either run the prompt directly or refine the instructions further. Once executed, the assistant will replace the selected text with a shorter version.
Complete
The complete function operates similarly to the previous one. First, select the text in the editor that you want to expand upon, then ask the assistant to complete it. When you choose the function, a prompt window will open, enabling you to provide any necessary details. After you validate your request, the assistant will generate content to enhance the existing text.
Translate
Your assistant is a polyglot! You can ask it to translate text into virtually any language. To save you time, we've pre-selected the following languages: English, French, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, German, and Dutch. If the language you're looking for isn't on this list, feel free to modify the prompt and ask the assistant to translate the selected text into the language of your choice. :)
Change the tone
Finally, you can use the assistant to change the tone of the text. Several tones are proposed by default, but you can also modify the prompt to ask the assistant to rewrite the text in a comical, poetic, or any other style that suits the content you are producing.
Advanced customization
System message
For example, if your app is a coaching application, you can instruct the AI assistant to write articles that motivate readers, ensuring it uses an appropriate tone consistently.
OpenAI API key
Every month, Halder Group provides 12,500 tokens for using the AI assistant. Once this quota is exhausted, you'll need to wait until the beginning of the next month for it to renew and continue using the AI assistant.
If you have an account with OpenAI, you can input your secret API key to bypass the quotas provided by Halder Group. This means Halder Group will no longer limit the number of tokens you can use, and tokens used by the AI assistant will be counted directly against your OpenAI account.
Generation model
