As of July 23, the Samsung Odyssey G9 QD-OLED gaming monitor (G93SC series) is on sale for $899.99 at Amazon, after a 29% discount that cuts $249.01 off its original price of $1,149.

With 5120 x 1440 Dual QHD resolution and a 32:9 aspect ratio, this 49-inch panel essentially gives you the same display size as two 27-inch QHD monitors placed side by side, without a bezel in the way. Plus, the 1,800R curve pulls the outer edges closer around your field of vision. This type of format works especially well for racing games like Forza Horizon 5, flight simulators like Microsoft Flight Simulator, and sprawling action-adventure titles like Assassin's Creed Black Flag Resynced.
